Yayyyyyyy!! OCC have finally released sparkly lip tars!
OCC’s Metallurgy lip tars from their holiday collection consists of six metallic shades. I got three of them.

Here’s OCC’s description in these “Apply even less product than usual in this newest iteration of our groundbreaking Lip Tar™ formula for a fully metallized lip look. Use the newly-included #010S Short Handled Professional Lip Brush for perfect, complete coverage.”
I do love these, they are metallic, I love it. Electric Grandma also is choc full for gold glitter too, it doesn’t look too noticeable when you first apply it, but when it starts to wear off you can really notice it.
As with all lip tars these are opaque, easy to apply and long lasting, between six and eight hours depending on the shade.
I also love the the brush that is included with these now, especially as this hasn’t meant there has been in increase in price, they are the perfect size for applying lip tars, small and thin, they make it easy to do crisp lines and also filling in and mixing colours.

Iced is described as “pure white frost metallic” and this is bang on, its a frosty version of feathered. This isn’t a shade that is meant to be worn alone, I bought it to mix with some of my other lip tars, I’m looking forward to mixing this with Nylon to make a metallic baby pink.
This was a bit less opaque and a little harder to get even than the other two were, as seen below, but as its going to be mixed with other shades, this is OK as it won’t be noticeable when mixed.

Electric Grandma is described as “a metallic sequel to grandma, our classic coral” This is a metallic version of grandma chock full of gold glitter.

Super NSFW is “a metallic sequel to NSFW, our truest red” This is also glittery but is much finer, its a fine gold sparkle that makes this perfect for the holiday season. Reds are super hard to get crisp lines on, I would personally use a red liner before applying this to make the lines extra crisp.
