Benefit Hervana Blush Face Powder Review and Swatches

Benefit is a company I’ve always firmly sat on the fence about, I’ve tried a few of their things, the creaseless cream shadows and coralista, and they’ve been nice, but pricey.

I decided to get Hervana mainly because it was on Buyapowa. So has this swayed my opinion of Benefit?

Benefit describe Hervana as: “Seeking a flush of enlightenment? Swirl on hervana… Our good karma face powder! Four complementary shades, lucky shell, divine peach, heavenly rose & berry delight – blend together perfectly for an orchid blossom blush. What goes around,,,comes around!

First glances, this is a really nice mix of colours, I was really intrigued as to exactly what colour was going to be when swatched. It comes out as a lovely rose colour, very soft. This is going to work best on light to medium skin tones, I think darker skin tones will have a hard time making this one show up.

This has a satin formula which isn’t the most pigmented, the swatch is three swipes. But this does mean you can layer it and it makes it difficult to overdo.

As with all of Benefits boxed blushes, this comes with a brush which is pretty useless. I’d rather benefit stop including these and then decrease the price of the product. But I highly doubt this will happen.

Overall: This is a very pretty and lovely coloured blush. However its got a bit of a hefty price tag, you could get similar blushes for cheaper. I don’t feel you get any extra quality for the money in this case.
